Paul designed Strength Clinic Dundrum around a simple idea: small group training should feel as close to personal training as possible. Groups are capped at eight members, and Paul invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment to back that up.
The atmosphere matters just as much as the programming. It's a women's-only environment where members get to know each other well, train hard, and have fun doing it.
"There's always plenty of laughter in the classes, along with all the heavy lifting. And they take a lot of pride and ownership in their training."
There's a strong emphasis on progressive overload - getting members stronger, fitter, and healthier over time - but delivered in a calm, constructive coaching style rather than a shouty one.
The Challenge: Outgrowing Pen-and-Paper Admin
Before opening his own gym, Paul managed everything - from bookings & payments to scheduling - with a diary and a pen. That was manageable with a small number of 1-to-1 clients.
"I knew then when I opened my new location and I wanted to start running a small group gym, that way of doing my admin just wasn't practical anymore."

"I have just become a much more professional business owner, and I'm much more in tune with the numbers."
Onboarding and ongoing support have been consistent throughout, with quick, helpful responses whenever questions come up.
"Whenever I have any issues or questions, I need to run by you guys, always responded to very, very quickly. And also, whenever I get a response, it's always super helpful."
Looking Ahead
With the timetable now full from morning to evening, including Saturdays, Strength Clinic Dundrum has reached full capacity - a problem Paul is happy to have. He's not sure exactly what comes next, but he's enjoying where the gym is right now.
"The growth over the last two years since working with LegitFit has been phenomenal. I love my space. I think the members here are very happy as well, and working with LegitFit has been a huge part in helping us grow here at the clinic."
