Dynamic Fitness was founded on a friendship. Matt and Philly had coached together at another gym for years before Philly's redundancy from a corporate role became the push they needed to take the leap. Matt had always wanted to own a gym. Before Dynamic Fitness, Matt had used gym management software at other facilities. The experience wasn't good. Systems were overcomplicated, onboarding new members was slow, and the margin for error was high - meaning admin pressure bled into coaching time.
"My knowledge of systems was that it be overly complicated and I have a system that's so user friendly I can literally sign a member up in seconds whereas previous systems would take more like 20 minutes sometimes longer than that and there's also a high chance you can set it up wrong"

"We wanted to have our logo! yeah and I think because we wanted people to associate the app they're using with the brand that they're training at essentially. This was important because brand is everything"
Matt is also looking ahead at how the app can do more - particularly around in-app performance tracking. Benchmark workouts, deadlift test results, push press maxes - currently logged in spreadsheets - are on the roadmap to move into LegitFit, giving members a single place to track their progress and giving coaches a cleaner picture of athlete development.
A Platform That Continues to Grow With the Business
Dynamic Fitness is still in its early months, but the growth trajectory is clear. What matters now is that the systems in place can scale alongside it - and that the team behind the platform stays responsive as needs evolve.
As features like in-app benchmark tracking come into focus, the expectation is that LegitFit grows with the gym - not just as a booking tool, but as a central hub for the full member experience.
"I just wanna build a thriving community that's I'd love to have an excess of 150 members and more and the biggest the goal is just to build a supportive community with an environment that feels like one fitness hub under the same roof"
